INTERNSHIPS

The farm internship program began in 1997 and many lives have been enriched through this hands-on, living and learning experience.Practices include organic and biodynamic management of soils, crops, pastures, cows, vegetables, and medicinal herbs; and intensive grazing practices. Learn how to make lacto-fermented vegetables and other nutrient dense food. Interns should have an identified focus.

Internship includes rustic accomodations and nutrient dense farm food. Work begins in early morning in the dairy and varies according season and weather. The day consists of chores and projects. Apprentices take an active role in on-farm classes and events.The farm offers full season, April - November, and short term, 4 - 6 week, internships. The internship is a non-paid position.

SUPPORTING ARTISANS PROGRAM
The farm has facilaties and supplies for several artisan endeavors, including bread making in an outdoor woodfired oven, a small dairy and cheese making facility. Call for additional information, 802-933-7752.
